Year Group Co-Planning with Nicky Waller
Applying the principles of enquiry and dialogic learning to the knowledge of each topic in the curriculum is a big task if you are doing it on your own. SATC have bought the support of Nicky Waller to work directly with each year group specifically focusing on the key ideas, the likely misconceptions and practical approaches that will help children deepen understanding.
For those schools that have previously engaged in the community of TDTS (Thinking Doing Talking Science) these co-planning sessions will help to embed the philosophy across the whole school. Implementing your science vision into every classroom for every year group.
The community is both subject specific and year group specific with a science knowledge forum for every year group. Meetings are termly and attendance at all meetings is anticipated as the communication and rapport between schools becomes increasingly supportive over time.
Fees are fully funded for Stoke-on-Trent Schools.
